Privacy
The short version: we collect what is needed to send you a bag, and nothing else. There are no accounts, no advertising trackers, and nothing is sold to anybody.
What we collect
- Your email address — to send the order confirmation and the tracking notice, and so you can reply to a real person.
- Your shipping address and name — to post the parcel.
- What you ordered — the items, quantities and prices at the time of purchase.
What we never see
Your card details. Payment happens on Stripe’s own hosted page. Card numbers never touch this website, and we could not retrieve one if we wanted to. We receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits, nothing more.
Your cart
Your cart is stored in your own browser, on your own device. It is not sent to us until you check out, and clearing your browser data removes it completely. It holds product references and quantities — no personal information.
Who else handles it
Four companies, each doing one job:
- Stripe — takes the payment, and stores what it must to do that and to prevent fraud.
- Supabase — the database holding orders and product records.
- Resend — sends the confirmation and tracking emails.
- Vercel — hosts the site.
None of them are given your details for their own purposes, and nobody is paid for access to them.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it. That is the only reason. Ask us to delete your details and we will remove everything the law does not oblige us to keep, and tell you plainly what stayed and why.
Marketing
There is no mailing list. You will hear from us about an order you placed, and otherwise not at all.
Your rights
Depending where you live you may have the right to see what we hold, correct it, have it deleted, or get a copy. You do not need to invoke a statute — just email pooldnamool@gmail.com and we will do it. We answer within thirty days and usually much sooner.
Children
This shop is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect anything about anyone under 13. If you believe we have, tell us and it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the bottom changes with it. We will not quietly rewrite it and pretend it always said that.
Who you are dealing with
Harbor Carry Co. is a small independent shop. Bags are packed and posted by hand from New York.
