Returns & refunds
If a bag is not right, send it back within 30 days of delivery and we will refund it. No explanation required.
What we need back
The bag unused, in the condition it arrived, with any tags still attached. Waxed canvas marks easily and permanently, so please decide with it on a table rather than on a hike.
A bag that arrived damaged or faulty is a different matter entirely — see below. Condition is not a problem when the problem is ours.
Who pays return postage
- Changed your mind: you cover return postage. We recommend a tracked service — until it reaches us, it is still your parcel.
- Damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered: we cover it. We will send a prepaid label, and you choose a replacement or a refund.
How to start one
Email pooldnamool@gmail.com with your order number — it looks like HC-1042 and is on your confirmation email. You will get a reply with the return address within two business days.
Please do not post anything back before emailing. An unannounced parcel with no order number in it is very hard to match to a refund.
When the money arrives
We refund within three business days of the bag reaching us, to the original payment method. Your bank then takes its own time — usually five to ten business days — and that part is out of our hands.
Refunds cover what you paid for the item. Original shipping is refunded when the return is our fault, and not when it is a change of mind.
Cancelling before it ships
Email us as soon as you can. If it has not gone out yet we will cancel it and refund in full. Orders usually ship within two business days, so there is a real window but not a long one.
Damaged in transit
Email us within seven days of delivery with a photograph of the bag and the packaging. We will sort it out — replacement or refund, your choice — and we will not ask you to take it up with the carrier yourself.

Harbor Carry Co. is a small independent shop. Bags are packed and posted by hand from New York.
